2D Animation: The Notebook
The notebook animation is a combination of frame by frame animation with stop motion. It was supposed to be a more experimental piece as I never done either method of animating. Most of the character animation was done in Flash and the background images were stop motion. I decided on a stop motion for the authentic effects of page ripping and page flipping. The first version of the animation was a music video, which featured Weezer /w Rachel Haden “ I just threw out the love of my dreams”. Here is the link to this version.
After a year break, I revisited the project and almost completely revised the story and animations done. A person pointed out it was a bit confusing to follow as a standalone animation. With this in mind, I made the appropriate changes, however I am still working on the stop motion pages. 2D Series: Digital High
What is Digital high? A fair question. Thousands are asking themselves the same thing every day. Many, several times. So what is Digital High? Some sort of electronic thing? A delicious puff pastry? Or maybe a fancy party hat? The answer is no, none of these things! So then, What is it?!? The short answer is, a show. It is a show about growing up. It is about finding your true friends, your true love, and your true self. A show for the ages, with action, adventure, drama, romance. Orphans, Mario, evil villains with twirly mustaches. Join our hero’s as the navigate life at a prep school slightly less bizarre than Professor Xavier’s. Full of homework, cavemen, vampire hunters and, maybe a bear or two. Motion Graphic: Nothing Gold Can Stay
This animation was my first attempt at a motion graphic piece. I used one of my favorite poems from Robert Frost, “Nothing Gold Can Stay” and a made an mg piece accenting each line of the poem. I focused on creating a flowing atheistic that focused on the meaning of the poems but didn’t hammer it too much into the user. Click to Play Movie.

2D Animation: Lazy Brains Comic Introduction
This animation was the introduction and background movie for the Lazy Brains Game. A kid, who is a couch potato, gets sucked into a crazy brain themed world because he did not use his brain enough. He finds out when he arrives that he has lost the top part of his skull, exposing his brain, and the only way he escape this world is to actually use his brain for once.

2D Animation: Schismatrix Plus
The book SchisMatrix Plus is a science fiction novel that details a possible future of the human race. A future where one either becomes part machine or seeks perfection using genetic engineering.
